I have never written to any paper before but this is something I wanted to do. I recently spent four weeks in the Great Western Hospital in Neptune Ward. Not only did they save my life, but I couldn’t have been treated better had I been royalty.
The nurses were often short staffed and stayed over their time to help out. They always had a smile but you could see how tired they were.
There was always a choice of well- cooked meals and the nurses were there to make sure we had what we wanted. I cannot thank the doctors and nurses of Neptune Ward enough, but I will never forget them.
