THE latest UN Climate Report warns us that the world is heading towards catastrophic climate change but that if we take concerted action now we can avoid such a fate.
This includes replacing the burning of fossil fuels, with its attendant pollution and harmful effects on the atmosphere, with clean energy, in particular, renewables such as wind and solar.
For folk to object to reasonably thought out projects for such installations on the grounds that they might spoil their view is surely a perfect illustration of burying one’s head in the sand.
