WE see Anne Snelgrove on your front page marching to save the children’s centres in Swindon, but where is the extra money to come from?
It is Labour Party policy to try to balance the books, so some big cuts have to be made somewhere in government expenditure.
Would Anne Snelgrove perhaps agree to cut foreign aid? If we cut the foreign aid budget we could afford to pay for the Swindon children’s centres 12,000 times over.
There is a very old saying that says “charity begins at home”.
