With the Tories getting even more desperate to sink lower than the vulgarity of UKIP, defence secretary Michael Fallon, with his comments that ‘Britain’s towns and cities are being swamped by immigrants’, evokes both Enoch Powell and Thatcher when they both made similar comments and speeches in the 60s and 70s.

All these politicians that continue to demonise and blame migrants for all the ills and woes in society are the same politicians who in seven months’ time will be begging these same migrants for their vote.

Wouldn’t I like to see these migrant workers go on strike for 48 hours then we could all see just what they contribute to the UK’s economy?

What does it say about Britain’s politicians and society when a general election in 2015 will be fought on ignorance and prejudice?

There are many words that I could use to describe some politicians but the Adver being a family newspaper wouldn’t print such words so I will simply call them hypocrites.
