I WAS pleased to read the plea in the (SA, News in Brief - Sept 15) for people to report those who persist in cub hunting. The first time I have noticed a plea like this in the news of a newspaper.

Huntsman have been known to breed foxes so that when they have inexperienced hounds they train them by allowing them to kill the cubs, a barbaric practice not widely known.
