Ref Biker hurt in police car chase (July 1).
AFTER reading that a 20 year old man was apparently chased by police in Poplar Avenue recently, I found it odd that according to a police spokesman (and I quote) “One motorcycle was carrying two people wearing no helmets. It was also not displaying any lights and no numberplate was visible.”
Yet the police chose to ignore this obviously illegal machine to chase what would seem to be a totally legal machine.
Perhaps the police can give a valid reason for this strange choice.
