I HAVE written to the sorting office, complaints office, my local MPand the MP for Wantage as I am having problems with the post. It is taking eight days for letters to arrive in both Oxford and Grove when they have first class stamps on them. Two of the letters have been re-directed in Oxford and my sister thinks one may have been opened. The last letter I sent I put the date on the letter and the time it should have been collected. I posted the letter on June 22 and it was not post marked until June 27. I am concerned about the length of time the letters are taking. One of the letters was a birthday card which I had allowed three days for delivery but never thought it would take eight days. A letter I posted to Highworth took five days with a first class stamp.
Now that the sorting offices have been closed in Oxford and Reading the problem could get worse.
