Letter from Mr G Ing

I AM writing to say I wish the continuous tirade about the cost to the country of my older generation would stop. How about what we achieved for the country instead? Even when I have visited a doctor I am often told, well you are getting older Mr Ing, and when you get your monthly medication, the pharmacist smiles at you when she hands over a large packet, she does not seem to know that I have been paying for it for all of 76 years, yes I started paying into what was the forerunner of the NHS the B Railways Medical Fund from my first pay packet as an apprentice in 1935, and had nothing from it till I was 83-years-old, well next to nothing.

MR G ING
