HAVING read the story currently running on your website entitled ‘Anger over bus noise’ there are a couple of points I would like to make.

Firstly, your story state that ‘While Coun Martin Wiltshire (Lib Dem, Eastcott) was able to attend the meeting, a representative from Stagecoach, which has owned the 50-year-old depot since 1997, did not’. In light of the fact that we were not at any time invited to the meeting, can you please amend this paragraph to ensure if reflects less negatively on Stagecoach.

The article also mentions that ten years ago the depot’s operating hours were 9am to 5pm. This is completely inaccurate. The depot has never operated between 9am and 5pm, ten years ago the operating hours of the depot were very similar to nowadays. Can you please amend your story to reflect this?

Finally, as the quote from the council states, their investigations have concluded that activities at the depot do not breach regulations relating to noise levels. However, we are more than happy to meet with Anne Snelgrove MP to discuss this matter further.
