I WAS having lunch in The Manor Farm pub recently, and I was talking to a fellow diner, to discover he used to live near me in Cypress Grove, next door to a dear friend who emigrated to Australia, even more surprising was that he was a brother to two very good friends of mine from the early sixties, Anne and Janet Wilkins. Unfortunately we did not exchange any form of address. This got me wondering about other friends I knew in Swindon, as I left Swindon in 1970 and after doing 22 years in the RAF and now 66 and retired, I have settled in nearby Wantage.

It would be great to find out how Anne and Janet and their friend Val are and how some of my friends have been over the years. Some of the haunts I frequented were Rodbourne Cheney later Moredon Methodist Church and Youth club.
