I HAVE been informed by my ‘mole’, who works for Westminster Borough Council, that plans are afoot to ban smoking in all council dwellings from 2012, owing to the high cost of redecorating of said dwelling, when the tenant dies or vacates the premises.
Also, by 2015 smoking is to be banned on all roads, streets, highways etc. At the same date a complete ban on barbecues, as this is one of the causes for obesity. The third ban, is on bonfires that are adding to global warming and with the advent of wheelie bins and recycling boxes, bonfires are unnecessary.
I have no proof of the above, but it sounds like a good suggestion!
