RE: Recent photographs of Wiltshire Youth Eleven.
I refer to the recent photographs of the Wiltshire Youth football team which have appeared in the Swindon Advertiser and I feel I may be able, from photographs I have kept, to add some further information.
Unfortunately the actual date of the match has been partly obliterated but I do know it must have been either January 7, 14 or 28, 1950.
Going back to the photograph of the Wiltshire Youth team, the two players on the left of the front row are twins A and D Prentice; the player third from the right in the front row next to John Atyeo is Roy Jennings who I believe played for Brighton, and the second player from the left in the back row is Keith Manners.
I pass this on in case it may be of interest.
