GOBEY Royston Charles 'Roy' Passed away peacefully at the Great Western Hospital on 5th April 2019, aged 83 years. Roy was a proud and active member of the Swindon & District Referees' Society and was awarded his lifelong membership in 2015 for over 50 years service. Roy held the position of President of the Wiltshire County Committee of the Referees' Association and was also a lifelong supporter of Swindon Speedway including great memories of working in the pits with Mike 'Broady' Broadbanks. Roy was the much loved husband of Doris. Beloved father to Steve and Debbie (deceased), stepdad to Dave, father in law to Joy and Val, gramp to Heather, Jonathan, Michelle and Mark, great gramp to Shea and Max. Funeral to be held at Kingsdown Crematorium on Friday 26th April at 10.30am.
