FRY Jean Ann Passed away peacefully after a short illness on March 11, 2020, aged 84, at the Great Western Hospital. Loving mum to Stephen and David, mother-in-law to Jane and grandmother to Jonathan, Victoria, Alexandra, Isabel, James, Grace and William. Jean will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A celebration of life will follow in the summer.

So sad to hear of Jean's passing. We had stayed in contact since I left Swindon Probation and moved to the USA so many years ago! Jean always had a smile and positive outlook. My fondest memory is of her running down the aisle on my wedding day! We shared many stories of our families and may they take comfort that she is now reunited with John. My sympathy to you all. June x

I will miss Nan so much, but I will always remember the times we shared growing up in England, and her trips to visit us in New York. We continued to write letters and send postcards to each other over the last 5 years, and I'm grateful we had this correspondence. It made me feel closer to her despite the distance. Rest in Peace Nan, we love you.
