I've just seen this, having been reminded of my college years in a conversation this morning, Pete immediately springs to mind and I looked him up. He was such an inspiration to me while teaching me A Level physics at Swindon College. He had a passion about sharing knowledge, adapted his lessons to events in class in an instant and encouraged thinking in a way that inspired me more than any other teacher I can recall. Thank you Pete, and my deepest sympathies to all his family. I cannot imagine I will ever forget Pete.

My sincere condolences to the family of Peter. He drummed Access Physics into my head in '91/92 and was the Swindon college first contact that persuaded me to give up work and give uni a shot.
No regrets.
An utter legend, pipe, pint of wood in the Beehive at lunch and end of day. They don't make em like Pete Naylor anymore which is a shame.
When the pubs open again I will have a drink in his honour.

My condolences, Pete taught me at Swindon College in the 67 to 72. Really a great lecturer with a dry wit. I remember he hated direct sunlight and always covered up on sunny days.
