YANEZ/PEREZ Dr Leopoldo Manuel Passed away peacefully in the early hours of Sunday 31st May at the age of 91. Leo was a GP in Swindon from 1964 to 1995. Devoted husband to Joyce and loving father to Poldi, Miguel, Ana, and Lila, grandfather to Claudia, Miguel, Nico, Santi, Aidan, Rebecca, Amy, Lucas and Seth. Dr. Yanez Perez was our family G.P. from our arrival in Liden in 1977 until his retirement. During that time the six members of the family had the immense benefit of a caring and skilled Doctor who always went the 'second mile' in his caring and attention. I remember the first time we had need of him when my wife moved to our damp new house with a new baby and developed pneumonia. We had never expected to have a Doctor who called at the house without being asked and this on a Building site in heavy snow in his Blue Fiat 500. Several times we had an informal discussion on his own youth and training and I shall always have the best of memories.Thank You, Doctor.

Dr Yanez was my doctor when I first moved to Swindon, he was a kind and caring man, With a lovely smile, my thoughts are with his family and friends. RIP Dr Yanez

Dr Yanez was our first family doctor, have fond memories of him. Wonderful person and amazing doctor. RIP Dr Yanez.
