Roy and I started school at St Mary's, Purton on the same day in 1935. I lost touch with him when I left Purton in 1946. I remet him in 2007 and in the last 5 years we have spent time alone together and also spoke regularly on the telephone. As well as enlightening me on current local affairs we were also able to talk over old times. He was a wonderful person and I am going to miss him very much. Rest in Peace old friend. Tom Rigg
