NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 PUBLIC FOOTPATH 5 SOUTH MARSTON ORDER 2020

The above order was made on 4 March 2020 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order will be to

i) divert a length of the footpath running from OS grid reference SU19468658 in a generally south easterly and then west south westerly direction to SU19508652 to a line running from SU19468658 in a generally south easterly direction to SU19508652, and



ii) divert a length of the footpath running from OS grid reference SU19458650 in a generally southerly, then westerly and southerly direction to OS grid reference SU19518612, to a line running from OS grid reference SU19458650 in a generally southerly then west south westerly and then south south easterly direction to OS grid reference SU19518612, as shown on the order map.



A copy of the order and the map may be seen free of charge at the Customer Services Reception, Wat Tyler House, Princes Street, Swindon, SN12JG, from 9am to 5pm on Mondays and Wednesdays to Fridays and 9am to 4pm on Tuesdays. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £15. The order and order map can also be viewed on the public rights of way pages of the Swindon Borough Council website (

www.swindon.gov.uk/publicpathorders

). Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Rights of Way Officer, Swindon Borough Council, Highways and Transport, 5th Floor Wat Tyler House West, Beckhampton Street, Swindon SN12JH, not later than 3 April 2020. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Swindon Borough Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order Dated 6 March 2020
