THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (LOCAL PLANNING) (ENGLAND) REGULATIONS 2012 AS AMENDED ADOPTION STATEMENT-TRAVEL PLANS SUPPLEMENTARY PLANNING DOCUMENT

The Swindon Borough Council Travel Plans Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) was adopted by Swindon Borough Council (the Council) by decision of its Planning Committee on Tuesday 11th February 2020. The Council has now published the Travel Plans Supplementary Planning Document (SPD). Any person with sufficient interest in the decision to adopt the SPD may make an application to the High Court for permission to apply for judicial review of the decision. Any such application must be made promptly and in any event no later than 3 months after the date on which the final SPD was adopted (11th February 2020) i.e. by the 11th May 2020. Under Section 23(1) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004, the Council has modified the SPD to take into account representations made in relation to the document and any other relevant matters. Modifications are included in the Statement of Consultation. Copies of the Travel Plans SPD, Statement of Consultation and this Adoption Statement are available for public inspection at Swindon Borough Council Civic Reception at Euclid Street, Swindon free of charge (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm). The documents may also be viewed at all libraries within Swindon Borough, during normal opening hours of those libraries, and can also be viewed on the Council's website, at:
