Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County Of Wiltshire (Royal Wootton Bassett) (Prohibition And Restriction Of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways And On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2016 (Amendment No.3) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Royal Wootton Bassett Consolidation Order 2016 by revoking Map Schedule Nos BO68 and BL69 dated 11/03/2016 and replacing them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos BO68 and BL69 the effect of which will be as follows: 1. To revoke the current Parking Mon-Sat 8am - 6pm 2 hours No return within 2 hours and replacement with No waiting at any time on the following lengths of road: High Street - north side - from a point 42 metres north east of its junction with Station Road for a distance of 6 metres; High Street - south side - from a point 42 metres north east of its junction with Station Road for a distance of 3 metres. 2. To carry out an admin only change on Map Schedule BL69 to adjust the positioning of the restriction label displayed, no changes will take place on the ground.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Extension Of Pedestrian Crossings - A3102 High Street, Royal Wootton Bassett

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes to extend the number of zig-zag markings at existing pedestrian crossings on A3102 High Street, Royal Wootton Bassett, as part of safety improvement works to widen the crossing points and upgrade the signal infrastructure. 1) A3102 High Street (W115 Rope Yard) - The crossing width extended from 2.4 metres to 3.2 metres. The controlled zone extended by 2.7 metres in a north easterly direction, the number of zig-zags will remain at 4 in total, 2 either side of the crossing; 2) A3102 High Street (W130 Post Office (Station Road)) - The crossing width extended from 2.4 metres to 3.2 metres. The controlled zone extended by 1.3 metres in a north easterly direction, the number of zig-zags will remain at 10 in total, 8 to the south and 2 north of the crossing; 3) A3102 High Street (W1093 Apsley House) - The crossing width extended from 2.4 metres to 3.2 metres. The controlled zone extended by 1.8 metres in a south westerly direction, the number of zig-zags will increase to 15 in total, 7 south and 8 north of the crossing.

Section 14(1) Of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all users: Bridleway 6 (Part), Ramsbury; from its junction with Footpath 8C, Ramsbury for a distance of approximately 290m in a south easterly direction to enable to undertake works associated with planning permission. Alternative route via public rights of way network and alternative route provided. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 29 August 2022 and the closure will be required until 28 February 2023. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 06 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) The Butts, Lydiard Millicent; from its junction with C28 for its entire length to enable Gigaclear Limited to locate and resolve blockages and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 30 August 2022 and the closure will be required for 1 day.
