THE SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL
(BUS LANES, BUS GATES AND BUS ONLY ROADS) ORDER 2014 AMENDMENT
ORDER (No. 1) 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council proposes to make the above Order under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, The Traffic Management Act 2004 and The Transport Act 2000 and all other enabling powers and in consultation with the Chief Officer of the Police. The reasons for making is Order is for administrative purposes to correct the details recorded in The Swindon Borough Council (Bus Lanes, Bus Gates and Bus Only Roads) Order 2014 (hereafter referred to as the 2014 Order) for Polaris Way, Bristol Street, Upham Road and Fleming Way (east) as well as including the Stratton Road Bus Gate into 2014 Order.
Please note this Order is not proposing to introduce or change any of the above bus gates and bus lanes.
A copy of the draft order may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during normal office hours and further details are also available at www.swindon.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders
Objections or representations to the proposed Order should be made in writing to reach the undersigned, quoting reference (ZA/BLE Amendment TRO) by no later than 17 February 2017.
