Sponsor’s Message

New College Swindon is delighted to be announced as a sponsor for the Swindon & Wiltshire Health & Social Care Awards.

The college has been influential in training and supporting students who have aspirations to succeed within the healthcare profession with a range of courses for all starting from Level 2 study programmes and with opportunities up to degree level.

David Panes, who is the Programme Lead for Foundation Degree Health and Social Care at the College, said: “We enjoy developing the healthcare workforce by enhancing the roles to make services more efficient care delivery.

“We should especially recognise the efforts that are being put in by students of this profession and the impact that it is having on the local community they work and live in whilst facing a pandemic.

“As a society we miss the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the success of individuals who may be the first in their family to go to university or complete a course while balancing a full-time job and a family.

“All our students have a back story to drive them in being successful and that should be recognised as a community and celebrated.”

The college will be sponsoring, The Healthcare Employer Award as part of this celebration.
