The following is a list of some of the activities which take place at the Sure Start Children's Centre in Pinehurst:

MONDAYS 1.00pm - 2.00pm
Baby Massage
Learn how to massage your baby. Course starting 15th November to 13th December for babies between the ages of 6 weeks to 8 months. FREE Crèche available. Booking required.

TUESDAYS 9.30am - 11.00am
Lemon & Co FREE ½ hour session with a solicitor on family law, eg money, relationships, children, divorce. Booking required.

TUESDAYS 1.00pm – 2.00pm
Swindon Pregnancy Crisis drop in
Support and advice, just drop in.
Every 3rd Tuesday of the month.

TUESDAYS 1.30pm - 2.45pm
One Step Forward
Follow on from Baby Buddies, this group is for 1 year olds. Drop-in with fun and learning activities. FREE Crèche available but must be requested. Snack for children. Contribution of 50p per family.

Wednesdays 9.30am - 11.00am and
11.00am - 12.30pm
Talk and Toys
Drop in for families with children from 0 to 5. Meet other parents. Fun and learning activities.Coffee time and snacks provided for children. Contribution of 50p per family

FRIDAYS 1.00pm - 2.30pm
Baby Buddies
Drop-in for mums, mums-to-be, dads, carers, grandparents and child minders with a baby aged 1 year and under. Fun and learning activities eg advice, info on how children develop and learn.

FRIDAYS 9.30am - 11.30am
NSPCC Drop in
Try your hand at arts and crafts, playing games and much more with your child. Advice on any worries about your little ones. Term time.

DID YOU KNOW?
To help make it easier for families to access services, a range of professionals hold their clinics in the Children’s Centre such as, the Speech and Language Therapist, Pediatrician, Physiotherapist and an Employment Advisor.

NEWS AND INFO
Registering your child for school. If your child attends a school nursery they will not automatically be registered for that school. Parents need to do this themselves. You can register on-line through Swindon Borough council between 1st September 2010 and the deadline which is 15th January 2011. This would be for a child starting school in September following their 4th birthday.
