Clare is situated off the road running from Chalgrove through to Stoke Talmage. If proceeding from the Chalgrove direction, take the B480 towards Stoke Talmage. Clare can be found on the left-hand side approximately 3 miles after leaving Chalgrove and the hamlet is at the end of a no-through lane signposted off the main road. If proceeding in a southerly direction from the A40 proceed through the village of Stoke Talmage and shortly after leaving the village turn right signposted to Clare.
