A GRIPPING drama is set to capture audiences next week.
Dial M For Murder is a brand new stage production at Bath Theatre Royal starring TV favourite Tom Chambers.
Tom is known for his roles in Holby City, Casualty, Waterloo Road and he won the sixth series of Strictly Come Dancing.
He will be playing villain Tony Wendice in the thriller made famous by Alfred Hitchcock’s film
The play is adaption of the screenplay written by Frederick Knott.
He will be performing alongside Sally Bretton, known for her roles in Not Going Out, Death in Paradise, The Office and Green Wing.
She will be playing Tony’s wife Margot Wendice. She’s not a stranger to the stage, having starred in West End productions such as White Christmas and Top Hat.
In the play the charismatic and manipulative character, Tony, who is an ex-tennis pro discovers his wife is being unfaithful.
He turns to revenge and decides to commit the perfect crime.
But Tony underestimates the power of human error and becomes more and more tangled in a web of his own making.
The play, directed by Anthony Banks, known for directing thrillers such as Girl on a Train and Gaslight, is on a UK tour this year.
It is due to be at the theatre at Saw Close from February 11 to 15.
Tickets cost between £28 and £42.50.
