Swindon concert for Motor Neurone Disease charity

A CHARITY concert called make now different will raise vital funds for the mnd association north wiltshire group.

The event at Swindon Arts Centre on Saturday will bring together local performers of all ages including The Songbirds, The Notables and Julie Scott’s Academy.

All money raised will go directly to helping Make Now Different for local people with Motor Neurone Disease. More information can be found at www.mndnorthwiltshire.org.uk.

Tribute to Lionel Richie in Swindon

FANS of Lionel Richie can join him All Night Long for an evening of fine dining and romantic songs.

The event in the Wyvern Theatre’s restaurant on Friday begins when doors open at 7pm. A superb three-course meal will be served at 7.30pm, followed by a performance of songs by a Lionel tribute act at 9.30pm.

Medium Sally Morgan sends kisses to heaven from Swindon

PSYCHIC Sally will be entertaining crowds at the Wyvern Theatre tonight.

The world-renowned psychic, television and theatre star, Sally Morgan will perform her interactive stage show at 7.30pm.

She is one of the UK’s most successful touring acts and has been impressing audiences across the country for the past nine years. Expect her show – called Kisses to Heaven - to be funny, entertaining, touching, sometimes heart-breaking and controversial.

Sally said: “The shows will be psychic dynamite and although they are undoubtedly entertaining, there is also a very serious side, which is to give audience members messages of hope and love from the other side.”

Marty Wilde rock 'n' rolls into Swindon

CELEBRATE the 60th anniversary of Marty Wilde’s musical career when he joins Eden Kane, Mike Berry and the Wildcats at the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon on Wednesday.

Along with special guest Mark Wynter, Marty will present the Solid Gold Rock ‘n’ Roll Show, reliving the late 50s and early 60s with the music that shaped a whole new pop culture.

Matt Fiddes Dance troupe dances through the decades in Swindon

A NIGHT of dance, moving through the decades from the 70s to the present, will take place at the Wyvern Theatre on Sunday at 5pm.
