A whole new generation is invited to climb aboard the magic bus and experience the music of rock giants The Who at the Total Who Show in Swindon’s Commonweal School tomorrow.

Johnny Warren’s Magic Bus is fronted by Johnny, who played for Ringo Starr’s Band and had hits such as Screaming Jets with Peter Gabriel. Also in the group is Phil Spalding, who has recorded with The Who’s Roger Daltrey and John Entwistle and worked with Mick Jagger, Mike Oldfield and Seal. Lending support will be Commonweal’s own vocal stars and the money raised will go towards fitting out the new music block.

Johnny said: “We don’t get carried away thinking this was our music. And we don’t dress up as The Who, smash up guitars, or swing mics around. It’s all about doing justice to songs that changed the face of popular music.”

Tickets are £10 for adults, and £5 for students, and available on the door or from ticketing@commonweal.co.uk
