Ever wondered what it would be like to walk in a celebrity’s shoes?

Well, now you can find out quite literally as stars of fashion, film, music and sport have donated their old footwear for a charity auction.

Generous celebrities including Kate Moss, Chris Martin and Coldplay, Benedict Cumberbatch, Emma Watson, Oprah Winfrey, Lionel Messi and Roger Federer have been having a wardrobe clear-out in aid of Small Steps, a charity helping children living on landfill sites.

Small Steps provides emergency aid, shoes and food to children and communities living on municipal rubbish dumps around the world, as well as helping children take steps into education and adults into employment.

Lots in the auction also include shoes from Alesha Dixon, Ant and Dec, Helena Christensen, Rachel McAdams and Dita Von Teese.

Friends fans can pick up a pair from Matt LeBlanc or Lisa Kudrow, while sports stars Theo Walcott, Cesc Fabregas, Jonny Wilkinson and Maria Sharapova have given their supporters a chance to see how it feels to be in their footwear.
