Engage is a mix of performance previews, works in progress, films and discussions with some of the UK’s young emerging artists and professional performers.
Engage gives a glimpse into what is on offer on the Artists Professional Programme.
It takes place at Swindon Dance, Town Hall Studios, Regent Circus tomorrow, Friday, January 12 from 6.30pm.
Presenting pieces of work at Engage will be artists from the studio's young professional programme; Charley Logan, Deepraj Singh, Liam Wallace and Rob Bridger, winners of the Marie Mccluskey’s Dance Makers Fund; Jamaal Burmar and Heather Walfond, associate artists; Anna Watkins, Estela Merlot and Thom Gulgec with the commissions programme by Ieva Kuniskis.
Everyone is invited to enjoy a glass of bubbly and gain an insight into Swindon Dance’s Artists Professional Programme.
Swindon Dance believes that investment in local, regional and national artists who are either starting out in their professional careers, looking to further develop their careers or are changing the focus of an established career, is vital if the country is to have a thriving and sustainable dance industry.
