THAMESDOWN Transport has announced that as a mark of respect its buses will stop for two minutes at 11am on Remembrance Sunday.
Buses due to depart between 11am and 11.02am on Sunday will wait until 11.02am. Buses already en route will wait at the nearest bus stop, providing it is safe to do so.
Paul Jenkins, the managing director of Thamesdown Transport said: “As a mark of respect to those who have lost their lives in past and current conflicts across the globe, we are asking passengers to join us in marking two minutes silence on Remembrance Sunday.
“Where safe to do so, our drivers will be stopping for two minutes.
"We hope passengers join us in this time of remembrance and reflection.”
