A FIRE at the Cross Keys pub in Royal Wootton Bassett has now been put out.
The alarm was raised at 3.45pm and fire crews from Royal Wootton Bassett, Westlea and Swindon initially attended, as well as the aerial platform.
On arrival they found the roof well alight and two more crews, as well as the control unit from Stratton were called in.
There is extensive damage to the roof of the building.
The High Street is closed.
