POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an alleged sexual assault in Old Town.
The alleged incident took place in an alleyway off Victoria Road, at approximately 2.30am on Saturday.
The female got into a car with an unknown man who parked nearby where she was subjected to a sexual assault.
The woman then left the car and walked up to Wood Street where a member of the public contacted Wiltshire Police.
The man is described as being mixed race and the car is described as being a dark coloured saloon.
Officers are keen to talk to two women and a man who were with the female earlier in the evening who may have information on the incident.
