PRIME Minister David Cameron has supported calls for killer legal high, AMT, to be banned during Prime Minister’s Questions this afternoon.

South Swindon MP, Robert Buckland, asked Cameron about whether anything would be done to ban the synthetic drug, alpha-methyltriptamine, after the death of 23-year-old Chris Scott.

The father-of-three from Parks died from multiple organ failure last July after trying the drug with friends he met up with Buckhurst Fields.

Buckland said: “I asked the question in PMQs - he supported our call for AMT to be banned.”

Following Chris’ death his family have launched a campaign to raise awareness of the effects of the drug in an attempt to prevent further tragedies happening.
