THOSE looking to slip into something special this Christmas can now join a new Slimming World group in Shrivenham.

Led consultant Rachel Firth, who is also celebrating 10 years service with the weightloss organisation helping others to achieve their diet goals, the new group held its first meeting at the Memorial Hall on October 21.

"Slimming World is not a diet," said Rachel. "If you love your food and want to lose weight - come along.

"Unlimited free foods such as chicken, meat and rice are on the menu and my particular favourites have been spaghetti bolognaise, cottage pie, a big English breakfast and not to mention unlimited sin free chips.

"Unlike other weight loss plans there’s never a time to go hungry and no sacrifices are needed."

The group will now meet every Wednesday at 7.30pm in the hall. For more information call Rachel on 07734 433770 or visit www.slimmingworld.com.

"It’s a fabulous location, in the heart of the community and I can't wait to open my new group exactly 10 years since I first became a consultant," said Rachel.

"Moving back home to Wiltshire, after the last 11 years living in Lancashire, I am thrilled to be continuing doing what I love - helping people become fit and healthy.

“Slimming World is the best plan available for weight loss and works for everyone; men and women; it’s also so healthy that we work in partnership with the College of Midwives to help members manage their weight through pregnancy, we have a specialist program (Free to Go) for young people between the ages of 11 to 16 and we work along side Diabetes UK too.

"Come along and give us a try. Men, women and children are all welcome. Food Optimising is fun for everyone and brings the excitement of good, healthy, nutritious food back into everyone’s life. Your weight loss journey may seem long and tough, but together, we can do it. The only limit is your imagination."
