A PUB has offered its condolences in the wake of a teenager's tragic death this week.
A spokesman for Greene-King, who own the Spotted Cow in Marlborough Road said they were "deeply saddened" to hear the news of the 17-year-old's sudden death in the popular pub on Tuesday(MAY 16)
A spokesman for the Spotted Cow said: “We are shocked and deeply saddened by this incident. This is clearly a very distressing time for all those involved and we are offering support to the team during this difficult time.”
Emergency services were called to the Spotted Cow at around 10.30am on Tuesday after receiving reports of a medical incident.
Paramedics treated the teenager on the premises but he could not be revived and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pub was closed yesterday.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said:“We are continuing to investigate the death of a 17-year-old male, however there are no suspicious circumstances.
“A file is being prepared for the coroner.”
