A FORMER nightclub boss is wanted by the courts for a string of driving offences.

Basingstoke Magistrates' Court has issued a warrant without bail for Jason Ranford.

The Swindon man, who once ran town centre club the Brunel Rooms, is accused of driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance and driving with no MoT.

Ranford, 31, of Hinton Parva, was allegedly stopped by Hampshire Police at Scotney, near Winchester, on June 16.

He is said to have been driving a Ford Excursion, a stretched limousine.

Ranford was first due to appear before Basingstoke magistrates on July 14, then again on July 18.

When he failed to appear on the second date, magistrates issued a warrant for Ranford’s arrest without bail.

Basingstoke Magistrates' Court today confirmed that the warrant has not yet been executed with Ranford still at large.
