NO further action will be taken against a 66-year-old man who was arrested by police following a stabbing incident last week.
Officers were called to Whitbourne Avenue on Thursday evening where a woman had sustained serious but not life threatening injuries.
A man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm but following an investigation, the police have established that no crime was actually committed.
