THE WALLS of North Swindon Library have been crammed with paintings.

Around 20 artists from Haydon Artists Society have offered works for the club’s Autumn exhibition.

Founder member of the society Barbara Moody said: “We always look forward to displaying our work at our exhibitions and they are always a huge success.

“We have many items of art work on display and for sale and we would welcome the public to come along and have a look.”

Each year the society hosts two exhibitions. Their major show – organised every Autumn – this year features portraits, landscapes showing the Cornish mining coast and paintings of favourite animals.

The society meets every Thursday at the North Swindon Library, between 7pm and 9pm. The group is open to all, with members supporting each other and offering advice on others’ works.

The Haydon Artists Society exhibition will run until November 30 at the North Swindon Library. It is open daily, except Thursday and Sunday. Free admission.
