SWINDON’S Holy Family Catholic Primary School have been rated ‘outstanding’ in their Diocesan Inspection this year.

The October report praised it for being a ‘fully inclusive school where pupils, their parents and carers from all faiths and none, are made welcome, and all show respect and genuine interest in care towards each other.’

It recognised pupils’ support of local and global charities, their academic success and the ‘remarkable progress’ of disadvantaged pupils and those with special educational needs.

Headteacher Miss Karen Bathe said: “I am very proud of all of the children, staff, parents and governors at Holy Family.

“This judgement is a true reflection of the hard work and dedication of everyone working together as a team – a family!

“Holy Family School is a very special place and I am honoured to be the headteacher.

“As one of our parents said ‘This is educating for a way of life’.”

Prospective parents can attend an open morning at the school from 9.30am to 11am on November 16.
