An exciting spring/summer brochure is previewed by SARAH SINGLETON

SWINDON’S Wyvern Theatre and Arts Centre have launched a new brochure blossoming with theatrical delights for the spring and summer season.

Whether you enjoy comedy, theatre, dance, music or all of the above, the new programme has plenty to offer. Ranging from serious literary productions, such as a stage version of World War I epic Birdsong (March 20-24), to kids’ favourite Teletubbies Live (May 9-10), the Wyvern has a programme for all ages.

Other highlights include a visit by the Russian State Ballet of Siberia to perform The Snow Maiden and Swan Lake (March 29 and 31) and a host of Easter treats (April 5-7) to keep youngsters entertained.

At the Arts Centre, look out for a visit by acclaimed comedian Shappi Khorsandi on May 24, and the popular Swindon Festival of Literature from May 8 to 18.

Time-travelling magicians Morgan and West are performing on May 25, and for fans of illustration, Nick Sharratt - famous for his contributions to Jacqueline Wilson’s novels - will lead a Big Draw Along on Monday 9.

Pick up a new brochure at the Wyvern or the arts centre, or visit www.swindontheatres.co.uk to find out all the details.
