A TEENAGER has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 17-year-old boy in Eldene.
The Swindon man, 18, was arrested on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm with intent. Police have released him under investigation while their enquiries continue.
The arrest follows a stabbing on Thursday, March 29. A boy was chased by a gang of young men into Eldene Primary School in Colingsmead and stabbed.
He was taken to Great Western Hospital by ambulance - with detectives describing his condition as "critical". A Wiltshire Police spokesman said today that the lad, 17, has since been released from hospital.
