Firefighters called to van fire off Ealing Way

Two crews from Stratton fire station were called to Coleridge Road, off Ealing Way, shortly after 10.50pm last night. 999 callers said a van parked on a driveway was in flames.

While they drove to the scene, firefighters were told the fire had spread to the house. When they arrived, the Stratton crews discovered two garages in flames and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose jets to put out the fire.
