POLICE have appealed for information after a fire gutted a Pinehurst shop.
Detectives from Swindon CID said at the scene of the One Stop shop fire on the Pinehurst Circle: “Our investigation is ongoing. A forensic investigation will take place tomorrow.
“Wiltshire Police and Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service are looking for any witnesses who may have suspicious behaviour to call 101.”
Currently, no arrests have been made. However, onlookers at the scene of the fire suggested it may have been started deliberately.
Firefighters were called after 7.30pm after a fire in waste behind One Stop spread to the main store.
Police, six fire crews, a Swindon Borough Council emergency response vehicle and the British Red Cross are currently at the scene.
