HUGE crowds enjoyed the displays at the Air Tattoo today.

While some people were stuck in traffic queues, families packed the site for the annual spectacle.

The Red Arrows put on a display .Other planes taking to the skies included a USAF F-35A.

Over 100,000 people are expected at the show over the weekend.

One of the highlights today was due to be a fly-by at 2.15pm marking the 100th anniversary of the formation of the RAF but this was cancelled due to the bad weather.
