IT'S time for up and coming rock stars to pick up their instrument, gather up their notes and make their way to Swindon's very own summer school of rock.
Organised by Swindon Piano 'n' Drama Studio, based at the old Town Hall in central Swindon, Rock School is a five-day summer school for young people aged eleven to 17 years.
It starts on Monday and ends on Friday, running from 10am to 3pm each day.
Sessions include music theory and songwriting, group workshops and rehearsals, solo lessons and coaching, learning how songs are put together,working with your own material and an optional end of week performance.
Swindon Piano 'N' Drama Studio is a music and drama school for all ages and abilities, set up by Nina Minshull seven years ago.
