Craft, Hobby & Handmade Show Steams into Swindon this month
There are only 2 weeks to go before Make It! & More – the crafty, hobby and handmade show with a difference returns to Swindon.
The 2-day show features inspirational makers and designers along with exhibitors selling a wide range of craft supplies. The stand-out difference to the event is a packed programme of hands-on craft experiences, enabling visitors to try new crafts at taster workshops.
Workshops on offer over the weekend include paper cutting, needle felting, glass fusing, block printing, willow weaving and more. There will also be demonstrations and talks from craft experts and additional drop in make and take sessions at several stalls.
The team behind the event are better known for running the award-winning Lechlade Craft Barn. “We’re excited to return to STEAM with this event”, said co-organiser Jennie Rainsford, “we have more stalls this year and some workshops are close to selling out.”
Exhibitors include Paper Panda, Hey-Jay Yarns, Denman W.I. College, The Arty Crafty Place, Stargazey Workshops and many more.
Taking place over the weekend of 22nd and 23rd September at STEAM – the Museum of the Great Western Railway, the event is ideal for craft enthusiasts looking to discover new crafts and stock up on supplies.
Discounted advance tickets are on sale now at www.makeitandmore.co.uk, admission from £4, children 16 & under go free. Visitors benefit from reduced entry to STEAM.
