Joe Pasquale comes to Swindon's Wyvern Theatre o Saturday to talk about A Few of His Favourite Things.

Pasquale burst on to our television screens 30 years ago on ITV’s New Faces. Now he’s on his 30th anniversary tour - and says the show is a celebration of his best cack, with some surprises on the way.

A comedian, actor and presenter, Pasquale was crowned King of the Jungle, in the fourth series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2004.

He was also one of twelve celebrities taking part in Dancing on Ice in 2013, and the following year danced again in an All Stars series, with dance partner Robin Johnstone.

A regular on the pantomime circuit, last winter he had a slot as Wishee Washee in Aladdin at the Bristol Hippodrome. He made his theatrical debut in 1999 in Larry Shue’s The Nerd, then went on to appear in the touring productions of Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead in 2004.

He has also appeared in a host of his own stage shows such as Live and Squeaky, Twin Squeaks and The Crazy World of Joe Pasquale. Now the comedian has qualified as a pilot and taken up boxing and running.

So let your inner child loose and learn to laugh and play again. He warns this show, which begins at 7.30pm, may contain nuts and Joe may say the word ‘fart’. Tickets: are £22. To book, call 01793 524481 or visit swindontheatres.co.uk.
