JESSIE May Children's Hospice at Home held a stylish fundraiser at their Swindon offices on Thursday.
The handbag amnesty raised money for the charity which supports terminally-ill children and their families.
Debbie Clark, from the fundraising team, said: "We've had a good response.
"Businesses and the people of Swindon have been so generous donating stock for this event - we received 60 from the Stratton B&Q alone.
"None of the unsold bags will go to waste.
"Some will go to charity shops and the nicest ones will be filled with women's accessories - or men's, if they're man-bags -, toothbrushes, scarves and warm socks, then given to the homeless.
"We're working with Threshold to make this happen and starting an appeal for people to donate these accessories to our cause.
"Hopefully, we'll do another handbag amnesty after Christmas.
"It's a win-win situation - people get rid of their old handbags and people in need get support they require."
