ACTRESS and pop star Billie Piper has started work on directing her first feature film.
"Rare Beasts" has been described as an 'anti-rom com' and stars Bille, who was born and grew up in Swindon, alongside David Thewlis,Kerry Fox and Leo Bill.
It is set against a backdropof the modern feminist movement
Billie told film industry website Screen Daily: “Rare Beasts is a cautionary tale.
"Where do we all go after the fallout between men and women? And who do we really need at the end of it all? I’ve been longing to talk ‘dramatically’ about the world I see around me and ultimately, I’ve always wanted to make my own films. This is a wonderful moment.”
The 35 year old star, who shot to fame as a 16-year-old with her very first single is also in pre-production of her third child.
The mother of two announced she was pregnant earlier in the summer.
