A Star-studded line-up of speakers has been confirmed for the Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Summit in October.

The event will provide an opportunity for networking over breakfast and lunch with influential business leaders from across Swindon and Wiltshire.

Those taking centre stage for the day include CEO of Wiltshire-based Gilo Industries Group, Gilo Cardozo, which designs and manufactures engine-powered para gliders, the economic secretary to the treasury, city minister and MP of Salisbury, John Glen.

There will also be a talk by Anthony Lovell de Souza who will be giving a masterclass on making the most of crowdfunding and Molly Fisher who will share 75-years of business experience as managing director of Landford Stone.

Gilo founded the company after leaving school early and building a combustion engine at a workshop at home. It now works with international aviation companies and make recreational gliders including the Mako Jetboard and Parajet.

Sharing some of the knowledge that made the company a success, going from a small start-up twenty years ago to a international aerospace company today.
